Counseling Secretary

THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED AFTER A MINIMUM OF 5 WORKING DAYS
The job of a Counseling Secretary was established for the purpose of assisting their assigned School Counselor.
Essential Functions
- Assists the School Counselor with duties such as group counseling, lesson preparation and data collection.
- Supports the School Counselor by preforming duties as assigned.
- Attendance is an essential function of this job opportunity.
Other Functions
- Assists other school personnel as required for the purpose of supporting the School Counseling Program.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must be able to operate standard office and computer equipment.
- Must have knowledge of concepts of stages of child development
- Must be able to communicate with diverse groups; maintaining confidentiality, and working with constant interruptions
Experience: Job related experience is desired.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
